Origins

Tucker Brook Apothecary was founded in Western Oregon on the belief that taking great care of your skin shouldn’t have to come with feeling greasy, oily, or otherwise distracted by the product that you’re wearing. We’ve talked with many people who only put on lotion when they absolutely must because applying and wearing it can feel like a chore.

We’ve tried many products that advertise themselves as lightweight that still left a greasy or filmy feeling, and it became clear during our research that we needed to make something new. Our motto is “Skincare without Distractions” because we believe that taking care of your skin should be a joy, not a chore. We aim for a skin-feel as close to clean hydrated skin as we can and we feel that we’ve knocked it out of the park in this area. 

Our name comes from a small brook in rural Northern Vermont that was a place of exploration and adventure for our Founder in childhood. Tucker Brook Apothecary is a sub-brand of Path and Oak LLC, a maker of wood art and gifts.
